"Elizabeth," he said, his voice a low gravel. "The world is a chessboard, and most people are merely lint on the felt. But today, we’re looking for the tailor."

"He’s building something, Red," Liz countered, her arms crossed. "Berlin is gone, but the vacuum is being filled. Why now?"

Back at the Post Office, Red burned the drive without looking at its contents. "You're afraid," Liz accused, watching the plastic melt.

Inside a hollowed-out shipping container, Liz found it: a hard drive containing the "Blueprints of Disappearance." But as she reached for it, the cold barrel of a gun pressed against her temple. It wasn't the Architect. It was Tom.

The trail led them to a derelict shipyard in Annapolis. As Ressler and Navabi breached the north perimeter, the lights didn't just go out—they changed. The Architect had rigged the facility with subsonic frequencies, disorienting the team.

Red took a slow sip of scotch. "Because, Lizzie, the Director is losing his grip on the Cabal. When the masters tremble, the servants start stealing the silver. The Architect has been commissioned to build a 'New Eden'—a localized blackout zone where the Cabal can hide their most sensitive assets before the Fulcrum exposes them."

"You shouldn't be here, Liz," he whispered, his voice devoid of the husband she once knew. "Reddington isn't protecting you from the Cabal. He's protecting himself from what you'll find on that drive."

The task force sat in the dim glow of the Post Office, the air thick with the metallic scent of old secrets. Raymond "Red" Reddington stood by the central monitors, his fedora tilted just enough to shadow his eyes.
