Each character has a specific role. Gavin and Sally use blunt weapons that are highly effective against drones. Frank should use his knife to cause Bleed on biological enemies, like the Sunday Gold boss, which deals significant persistent damage.
Unlike many RPGs, AP does not automatically refill after combat. If you end a fight with low AP, you will start the next puzzle turn with very little to spend on searching or hacking. Try to finish battles efficiently to conserve points. Sunday Gold-FLT
