The barbed wire scene in The Human Centipede 2 (Full Sequence) remains one of the most infamous moments in extreme horror, serving as a primary reason for the film's initial ban in the UK. In this sequence, the protagonist Martin Lomax, an obsessive fan of the first film, wraps barbed wire around his penis before brutally assaulting a woman at the end of his "centipede".

: The British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) initially refused to classify the film, stating the scene posed a "real risk" to viewers due to its link between sexual arousal and extreme violence. Australia’s Review Board also refused classification, describing it as an offensive depiction of sexual violence.

: Director Tom Six reportedly created the sequel as a response to viewers who complained that the first film was too clinical and didn't show enough graphic detail.

: Most mainstream releases, including the BBFC-approved UK version, had this specific scene heavily edited or removed entirely.
