The story follows (Patrick Dewaere), a struggling 30-year-old pianist whose life is upended when his wife dies in a car accident. He is left to care for his 14-year-old stepdaughter, Marion (Ariel Besse), who chooses to stay with him rather than her biological father. As they navigate their shared grief, Marion begins to express a romantic and sexual attraction to Rémi.
